bare is a contemporary new musical that tells the story of a group of students at a Catholic boarding school struggling to find their own voices in a modern world that both embraces and isolates them. In their search to be "seen" and "heard" these teenagers confront coming of age, coming out, and coming to terms with the often contradictory but always high expectations of parents, peers, and the Church.
In the spirit of shows like RENT and Spring Awakening, bare the musical speaks through an urgent, pop/rock influenced score that is the ceaseless pulse for the "operatic love story" that is its heart. Sold out audiences across the country have thrilled to the emotional, honest, and exciting new musical that is bare.
